MLK vLegacy for Earth, All Earthlings, and Help-Haiti Mission123

MLK vLEGACY anchors Mission123 in black and colored communities worldwide.

If you’re violent to yourself by putting things into your body that violate its spirit, it will be difficult not to perpetuate that onto someone else.
~Dexter King

(Veganism is) … the next logical extension of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s philosophy of non-violence.
~Coretta King

To lift up a society, grasp the bottom and pull upwards.
~Prof. Veghead

Circles of Life Mandala, Mission123

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did not practice a strict vegan diet but represented the ethical, moral and social values of Global Mission123.
The purpose of MKL vLegacy is to export his American work to Haiti and the World through school systems, entertainment industries
and cultural institutions. This includes repackaging and invigorating MLK 365 for all young people.
~Jeff ‘VeganMan’ Tucker, Founder Mission123

Background & Basis (USA): Pew Research Center survey   8% of black Americans are strict vegans or vegetarians, compared to just 3% of the general population.  This mirrors 2015 findings by Vegetarian Resource Group – 8% of black people are strictly vegetarian, compared to 3.4% overall.  Gallup – 31% of non-white Americans had reduced their meat consumption in 2019 vs. 19% of white Americans. Survey meaning  the AA population, historically most vulnerable to S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) and its concurrent disease-dysfunction-degraded damages, gets the biggest statistical boost in lifestyle benefits and the highest ROI on nonprofit investments.
Basis (non-USA): MLK vLegacy transcends boundary lines, localized productions or and is a birthright of all Earthlings.

MLK vLEGACY will connect theatre arts with humane education in ‘Enstiti Edikasyon,’

Green Rasta Mascot ERTHY Sez:  a central tenet of Rastafarianism is eating “ital” foods – organic, locally grown and plant-based. Rasta-owned vegan and vegetarian restaurants can be found in cities around the world with a large Caribbean diaspora.  Traditional African cuisines, while not strictly vegan, are largely plant-based with staples – dark leafy greens and legumes.

‘Healthy You Challenge’ Southeast Florida Oasis Jumpstart Pilot  kicked off 10.19.19  by Urban Greenworks (UGW) with EarthSavePOD and 36 participants from Liberty City, Brownsville, Allapattah, Little Haiti, Miami Gardens, Homestead, and Opa Locka (all USDA “food desert” communities.) Horne estimates this Jumpstart supported more than 200 people in their journey to improved wellness through evidence-based nutrition.

Roger Horne (Urban Greenworks Executive Director, EarthSave Ambassador and VeganVille Advisory Board) created Community Food Security Initiative, bringing the first Urban Farm model to Liberty City, a USDA “food desert.”  Also Hammocks in Da Hood – restoring the native ecoscape of neglected inner-city open spaces.  New Pollinator Pathways supports ecosystem restoration throughout Miami-Dade.  Roger set up permitting for community-owned markets, gardens and urban agriculture With Miami’s Food Policy Council, and built residential edible gardens with Habitat for Humanity.

Sherwood Ross graduated from UM in the 1950’s with a ‘first of its kind’ degree in race relations.  The “March Against Fear” was comprised of Ross, Meredith and only 3 other men, but following Meredith’s recovery it culminated in e “Last Great March of the Civil Rights Era.”  Few people know how many leading civil rights figures were prone to crash Sherwood’s NYC apartment or how devoutly he pursued his journalistic activism until his recent death.  To my endless consternation, Sherwood always declined roles I Have A Dream-Revival Tour and vLegacy events for personal reasons.

THEME SONGS of MLK vLegacy in Haiti

HAITIAN GRACE v.7.15.22
A song for Help Haiti NGO and MLK vLegacy Project

Kernel Lyrics by hhTeam, Kenneth Durrum and Jeff ‘VeganMan’ Tucker
To the gospel tune “AMAZING GRACE” – Sung in the key of H (for Hope)

Copyright: VeganMan Enterprises 2022

Spoken:

Many score and more years ago, zealous Haitian patriots founded an island nation on liberty and equality, even as a jealous world beset them in bloody conflicts, testing if any republic forged in slavery, can emerge, or thrive.  Haiti ‘HATERS’ are few, but ‘HAITEURS’ are the global norm, arrayed on the S.A.D. spectrum from apathy to ignorance.

Lyrics:

O HAITIAN GRACE your soulful sound saves many HAITEURS like me
My vegan soul was tempest-tossed till I loved BRAVE HAITI HAITI.

O BRAVE HAITI your land endures the utmost misery

Your people trust and so we must resolve to SAVE HAITI.

Now SAVE HAITI’s a joyful sound that sets our conscience free,

On bended knee I’ll plead until we all join HELP HAITI.

O HAITIAN GRACE your sweet-sweet sound saved many a HAITEUR like me

Refrain:

My soul was lost until I found a way to HELP HAITI.

Help Haiti NGO invokes a 4th, spiritual aspect of Mission123 as Haiti’s Antidote for Millenium3: Humane + Holistic + Hygienic + Hope. ~Haiti Rising to hhFingersign
