The Future of Haiti's Agriculture
Reading Time: 2 minutes
A sustainable agricultural initiative for Haiti
Food is only second to water when we talk about the essentials of life. Our bodies cannot manufacture the nutrients and substances we require to live therefore we must consume food to produce energy and provide the building blocks necessary to sustain life. Agriculture is one of the largest sectors of the Haitian economy [1] as well therefore our project will uplift dual living conditions in Haiti.
When a nation becomes devastated by natural disasters, climate change, and economic ruin the hardest hit area is the food source. Haiti has and is experiencing challenges related to sustainable agriculture. Our Help Haiti Agriculture project, which we continue to support and highlight on our website, is dedicated to solving the food crisis in Haiti.
