SAVE HAITI PETITION TO UNITED STATES SENATORS BY HAITIAN AMERICAN CONSTITUENTS, AND FRIENDS

We are deeply concerned about Haiti's sovereignty and WE SAY NO TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC PRESIDENT LUIS ABINADER AND HIS OCCUPYING MULTINATIONAL FORCE! On Wednesday, September 14, 2022, Mr. Abinader began seeking endorsements from world leaders for his “multinational force” IN DIRECT OPPOSITION TO LONG-TERM INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE OF HAITI.
Vice-president of the United States Kamala Harris, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres, OEA/OAS – Organization of American States, CARICOM, and other world and hemisphere leaders SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO HAITIAN SOVEREIGNTY AND HAITIAN AMERICAN RELATIONS.
Rather than arbitrary foreign intervention and imposed jurisdiction, we pray that our United States Senators support the provisional Citizens Commission: A TRANSITIONAL CITIZENS COMMISSION OF 11 DISTINGUISHED MEMBERS SHALL BE FORMED BY HONORABLY RETIRED DIPLOMATS, FORMER LEGISLATORS AND JUDGES, AND NOTABLE MEMBERS OF THE DIASPORA AND SERVE UNTIL 2025 CEP IN PORT-AU-PRINCE AS FOLLOWS: ~The Citizens’ Commission shall save and protect Haiti’s sovereignty by provisional governing on behalf of all Haitian citizens in preparation for the upcoming 2025 CEP (national election year) and: restore a duly elected government; serve the common good; re-establish state order; acquire economic advantages from mass job training and exchanges; repair infrastructure damaged by earthquakes and natural disasters. ~10 Commissioners shall represent Haiti’s ten Departments, and a floating Chairperson shall serve as a tiebreaker. ~Each American state shall encourage, collect, and deliver these petitions to their United States Senator, identifying their Haitian American Constituents or Friends of Haiti Petitioners. They unanimously declare their conscientious and democratic SUPPORT FOR THIS TRANSITIONAL CITIZEN’S COMMISSION.

Historical Reference:

following the 2010 earthquake, Haiti was egregiously harmed by occupying ‘peacekeeper’ soldiers of MINUSTAH (United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti), including numerous cases: young boys raped; underage girls impregnated; a ravaging cholera outbreak caused by illegal sewage dumping led to 8,534 deaths and 697,256 infections (Haitian Ministry of Public Health and Population); vital infrastructure improvements were delayed then abandoned. Most of MINUSTAH’s occupying force was removed following years of widespread outcry. END ADDITIONAL PETITIONERS See Below
