No-Bake Date-Nut Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 1½ C raw pecans or walnuts
- 4-6 pitted dates
- 2 pitted prunes
- 1/8 t cinnamon
- 1-3 t water
Instructions
- Grind the nuts in a processor until fine.
- Add the dates and the prunes and process until the mixture is sticky.
- Add the cinnamon and just enough water to hold the mixture together.
- Press into an 8-inch pie plate.
- Use immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to fill.
- Fill with fresh fruits – either sliced, diced or pureed.
