Press Release: TeamHAITI Petitions France to Underwrite $100M Masterplan
We, volunteer supporters of Help-Haiti Mission123 (‘TeamHAITI,’) do endorse and present Help-Haiti Petition to the People of France and French government.
TeamHAITI is mandated by RJL $20M Cooperative Trust for the benefit of Haitian orphans, students, families, domestic and diasporan, under Mission123 Masterplan
as responsible parties for a) human rights violations of enslaved
persons of St. Domingue since 1697, and b) economic crimes against
the Republic of Haiti since 1825 (‘HAITI PETITION.’)
Why France?
Since 1697 the royal treasury of France reaped enormous profits from slave-based sugar and coffee industries on St. Domingue (a/k/a Hispaniola,) apex slave colony in the New World. A century later 500,000 West African slaves, Mulattoes and Maroons revolted and Haiti (Ayiti) emerged as the world’s first black constitutional democracy and a beacon of human rights. But freedom and independence did not include equitable reparations
for countless human rights abuses under French domination. Ironically, Haiti paid France long-term reparations from 1825 to 1887, effectively bankrupting the fledgling nation.
The US, Britain, Germany and other hostile states imposed discriminatory, exploitative and predatory agendas on Haiti, further degrading its governance and institutions. Result: 12 million modern Haitians (1.2 million orphans), suffer the Western Hemisphere’s poorest economy, shortest lifespans, gang violence, political instability, corrupt bureaucracy, pollution, deforestation, lack of government-civil infrastructure, food insecurity, earthquakes, natural disasters, inadequate health care, illiteracy, misallocated foreign aid, fuel shortages, assassination of President Jovenel Moïse
in 2021, and persistent distrust by global philanthropists and benefactors.
In 2003 a demand for $21Bn equitable reparations by President Jean-Bertrand Aristide was rejected by the French Parliament. PETITION pleads with the French national conscience for a symbolic sum of $100M, as underwriter of Help Haiti Masterplan vFund >vegtastic.co/vegtastic-charities, and third benefactor of RJL Trust >vegtastic.co/encyclopedia/rjl-help-haiti-cooperative-trust-hhtrust-assets-hhassets.
